Arbaminch City hosts Bahir Dar on Sunday
as the Betking Ethiopia Premier League
returns at the Hawassa University Stadium
in what promises to be a chance for
Arbaminch to reset their ambitions this
season against a side that's primed to
challenge for honours based on how they
have started their campaign.
This will be the first of two games on
Sunday, with Wolkite City hosting
Hawassa City in the second game at the
same
venue. Fans will be thrilled to have
the league action back after the
International break.
Arbaminch have put behind them their
poor start and showed recently in their tie
with Wolkite City that they can mix it up
with the best, with striker Eric Kaputo
impressive.
Bahir Dar's Osei Mawuli looks like the
perfect striker, with his movement and
understanding improving with each
passing game.
He has been complemented by the skills
of Girma Disasa and Temesgen Derese
and a great deal of flair and invention
from the midfield.
A win for Bahir Dar will see them go top
of the table above defending champions
Fasil City, who look like they are primed
to retain their title.
Arbaminch City play an impressive form
of pressing that can be interesting given
Bahir Dar's open attacking game. This
could definitely be a high scoring game.
